Call for expressions of interest in participating in a pilot project on home charging of electric vehicles

Do you have a level-2 (240-volt) electric vehicle charging station installed at home? Are you interested in taking part in a pilot project that aims to understand electric vehicle charging habits at home and test effective energy management strategies? To thank you for your participation, you will receive an Electric Circuit charging credit of $250.

Hydro-Québec wants to work with motivated customers to test a range of technologies and approaches designed to use energy efficiently and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Pilot projects will be rolled out in the coming months in various cities and boroughs on Montréal’s West Island: Pointe-Claire, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Kirkland, Dorval, Saint-Laurent and L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève.

Hydro-Québec is deeply committed to the energy transition and would like to understand what conditions encourage individuals to adopt new technologies. We also want to assess the impact of these technologies on the power system in order to prepare for their large-scale deployment.

By participating in a Nova 35 pilot project, you, too, could become an active player in the energy transition!
